Georgia requires Category 24 applicators to earn 10 recertification credit hours over their 5-year license period. Unlike some states, Georgia has no separate Core requirement — all 10 hours are credited directly to Category 24, so this bundle is the complete renewal. Six courses cover all 10 hours: Ornamental Management and Fire Ants alongside the applicator fundamentals that every category requires. Because the cycle runs five years from the date your license was issued, you can complete the requirement whenever it suits you— but all credit hours must be received by the Georgia Department of Agriculture at least 90 days before your license expires.
