Welcome to this CEU on Personal Protective Equipment: Selection, Use, and Care. The purpose of this recertification CEU is to be used as an essential information source for the selection, use, and care of personal protective equipment. As such, all equipment choices must be formulated within the framework of the pesticide label where it will be applied. Special attention must be given to chemical resistance and material selection, the cleaning and storage requirements of the Worker Protection Standard, and applicator safety and health, including the recognition and prevention of heat stress. - Must obtain three (3) re-certification credit hours in order to renew the Private Applicator license.
Commercial/Noncommercial Applicators – 10 Credits
